The Iowa City Area Development Group represents several Iowa City area communities committed to a strong economic future for our region. Although we’re involved with many issues—business and workforce development—we’re responsible for marketing the Iowa City area to create a more diversified economy while keeping and maintaining some of the leading companies in the country. With the support of the business communities we serve, we’ll remain the organization of choice . . . today and tomorrow.

Simply stated, our success will be measured by the Iowa City area community's support, by the number of our investors and the degree of investment contributed. We realize there are numerous demands for financial support, but none that so vitally impacts each citizen.

The Iowa City Area Development Group is working for our metropolitan area by:

• Actively participating with other economic development organizations representing city, county, regional and state efforts
• Working directly with area businesses to assist in their expansion efforts
• Working directly with business, education and state government in the area of workforce development
• Working to strategically target companies that will add wealth and employment to our economy

As an investor you have the opportunity to:

• Help expand the economic base of the Iowa City area
• Assist in the development of the responsible growth of the community

Investors in the Iowa City Area Development Group receive a subscription to Business Solutions, summaries of reports, the potential to serve on the Board of Directors and Advisory Council, a copy of our Annual Activity Report, a listing on our Members Directory on our Web site and special communication on fast-breaking business locations and expansions. Investments and contributions are a legitimate business expense and not deductible as a charritable contribution. The ICAD Group is a 501.c.6 organization.
