Board Member Expectations, Duties and Responsibilities

Formulate policy, strategic plans, work programs, budgets and monitor objectives and achievement
Provide personal leadership, enthusiasm and support to build an effective development organization
Promote and actively represent the organization and our program of work
Maintain a positive approach regarding area development matters
Work constructively and harmoniously with board, officers and staff
Inspire others to respond to worthwhile causes sponsored by our organization and motivate others to develop solutions to community issues
Provide resources to ensure an effective program, staff and funding
Fulfill board requirements as outlined in the bylaws
