Mark Nolte, President
Mark Nolte provides business development assistance to existing companies, emerging companies and those researching our area for development.
Before joining ICAD Group, Mark served as a senior manager and training consultant for The Abilities Fund, a nationwide community developer targeted to advance entrepreneurial opportunities for Americans with disabilities and organizations that serve them. Previously, he was assistant director for the Institute for Social and Economic Development where he managed city, state and federal programs to aid low to moderate income Iowans. He also assisted with Dave Loebsack’s political campaign and was a candidate for the Iowa Legislature in 2006.
An Iowa native and a University of Iowa graduate, Mark served as an Americorps VISTA supervisor and an Iowa City Housing Authority Advisory Panel volunteer. He co-owns Nolte Academy of Dance in Coralville with his wife, Leslie.

DaLayne Williamson, PHR, GPHR, is the Workforce Business Services Director with the ICAD Group. Since workforce issues are a top concern for all employers, DaLayne focuses workforce efforts in multiple areas. Programming includes tools to guide decisions, connecting employers with the post-secondary resources, assisting with retention and recruitment needs and recognizing and filling gaps in training offered locally to assist companies in overcoming workforce challenges.
DaLayne is a founding member of the IC HR Roundtable and the Corridor Job Club. Other current memberships and community involvement include Past President for the Iowa Senior HR Association (ISHRA), EIHRA, SHRM, Kirkwood’s Workplace Learning Connection Board and was appointed by the Governor to the South East Region STEM Advisory Board in 2012.
Workforce Inquiries - DaLayne Williamson, Workforce Business Services Director
As Communication Director, Eric is responsible for leading the development of ICAD Group’s communication strategies through its website, newsletters, social media, annual reports, and other communication and marketing materials. Additionally, he works with the ICAD Group Board of Directors, Investor Council, and specific committees on business development projects. Prior to coming to ICAD Group, Hanson worked for KZIA Inc. in Cedar Rapids as Director of Programming and as a sales representative and has also served as Creative Director and as a freelance writer for advertising agencies in Illinois and Missouri.
Eric has served in leadership roles with many regional organizations including ImpactCR, the Iowa City Chamber Community Leadership Program, Friends Helping Friends Foundation for Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control, and BrewNost for the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library. Eric also represents the Corridor on the Creative Corridor Regional Branding Task Force and the Any Given Child arts project in Iowa City.
Investor and Media Inquiries - Eric Hanson, Communications Director
Allison Antes works regionally with ICAD Group and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance providing Existing Industry Services. Allison connects with more than 150 interstate commerce companies in Iowa’s Creative Corridor, gathering company data and leadership perspective on doing business in this region. Using the Blane, Canada Synchronist® Business Information System, the growth, risk, value, and satisfaction of each company is measured and she helps both organizations develop retention and expansion programs when necessary.
Allison has worked in the Corridor since 2001, including development, project and management positions within United Way, Horizons, and RSM McGladrey, Inc. She is a grad from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and is an active volunteer and community member, including work with ImpactCR, Cedar Rapids Daybreak Rotary, and the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce Leadership for Five Seasons Program.
Existing Industry Inquiries - Allison Antes
Sheri Jelinek, CAP-OM, is the Office Manager for the Iowa City Area Development Group. Since October 2002, Sheri has maintained the organization’s financial records including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the organization’s investments and department records including minutes and official records of the board of directors.
Sheri is also responsible for LOIS (LocationOne Information System), the organization’s site location database that allows companies and location consultants to search online for available commercial and industrial buildings and sites in the Iowa City area. The database features community and area information including demographics, transportation and quality of life information.
Sheri coordinates with local community representatives and local Realtors® to maintain their information and building and site inventories.
A Waterloo, Iowa, native, Sheri earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Accounting from Hawkeye Community College. She also attended the University of Northern Iowa.
Sheri has served as the Chapter Treasurer, Chapter President-Elect, Chapter President and is currently serving as the Chapter Past President of A N Palmer Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
She’s an active community participant and a committed volunteer in her children’s school activities.
