The Eastern Iowa Airport is served by Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier, and United Airlines. Nonstop commercial service (sometimes seasonal) is provided to 11 cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix/Mesa, Punta Gorda/Ft. Meyers and Tampa/St. Petersburg.
The Eastern Iowa Airport is a major air cargo hub, shipping approximately 20,000 tons of cargo annually, and has been designated one of a limited number of Foreign Trade Zones in the Midwest. With our FTZ No. 175 status, Cedar Rapids is rapidly becoming an important hub for international trade, and is the United States’ largest national exporter on a per capita basis.
The Quad City International Airport serves travelers throughout Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. The Iowa City Municipal Airport provides general aviation services on two hard surface runways. Jet-Air is the fixed base operator. The airport offers a terminal building, two corporate hangar buildings, and five buildings with 60 individual hangars (T-hangars).
