Tiffin is located just west of the crossroads of I-80 and I-380 (Avenue of the Saints) and is situated in western Johnson County. It is located on US Hwy 6 and Iowa Interstate Railroad, bordered by North Liberty, Coralville, and Iowa City.
Numerous small businesses are located in or near Tiffin, meeting the growing demand for the continuous new residential construction underway. A new industrial park within the southern city limits is nearly sold out. It is zoned for Light Industrial, south off Interstate 80 and is on a recently completed improved roadway.
Phase One of commercial property is under construction in the center of the city located on US Highway 6. Additional commercial property construction and street improvements are anticipated as the city prepares for Visioning Iowa improvements and tourism expansions.
