ICAD Group Business Continuity Plan

Iowa City Area Development Group, Inc. (ICAD Group) Business Continuity Plan is a reference document for staff to use in the event of a crisis or other critical incident that disrupts normal business activities for an extended period of time.

Within this document, you will find procedures for responding to a crisis with specific roles identified for key staff, as well as contact information for staff, board members and other significant partners and resources.  This document is not all inclusive of our clients, investors, service providers and vendor directories.  It is the responsibility of each staff member to maintain specific lists significant to their tasks and update them on a regular basis in alignment with this plan.

In the event of a crisis, the primary roll of each staff member is to first secure the safety of themselves and their families.  Once this has been addressed, staff members are to notify a member of the Business Continuity Leadership Team of their location and how they may be reached for further instructions.

It is the responsibility of ICAD Group staff to maintain the integrity of this document by reviewing its contents quarterly and forwarding any changes to Sheri Jelinek.  Staff will be notified of updates and is responsible of updating the flash drive provided on a regular basis.

The process of brainstorming and accumulating alternatives to various situations is the best way to prepare for any unfortunate circumstance.
