ACT, Vector Corp. Receive International Business Awards

Vector Corp. and ACT were recipients of the International Business Award from the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area chambers of commerce.  The awards were presented at the second annual International Business Symposium at the Kirkwood Center for Continuing Education in Cedar Rapids. The symposium was presented by the chambers and the Iowa City Area Development (ICAD) Group.

More than 100 people attended the educational event with 12 breakout sessions, three keynotes and the award presentation.

The two companies were recognized for their international success and contributions made in the Corridor. While accepting the award, both companies referenced their ability to withstand the national recession due in part to their global market share.
