New Webinars for Educators; Focus is on Improving College and Career Readiness

ACT is offering free webinars to help secondary and postsecondary educators and officials improve students' college and career readiness.

"The webinars will help educators and administrators better understand the many uses for data available from ACT's assessments and ACT's five-plus decades of research," said Paul Weeks ACT vice president of Educational Services. "Attendees can use the webinar information to improve curriculum, advise students and apply district and statewide strategies to add rigor to the classroom."

The webinars will enable attendees to use valuable and reliable ACT data to:

•Implement strategies and tactics to better prepare students for college and careers
•Determine if students are meeting benchmarks for college and career readiness
•Track student readiness by using ACT assessments
•Study student scores and learn how to close skills gaps
•Improve curriculum and add rigor
•Advise students on academic progress and support interventions

The webinars will be presented by ACT employees who are experts in college and career readiness, measuring student performance, using data to improve students' skills, and adjusting curriculum to close learning gaps.
