Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. William J. Fehrman, President and CEO of MidAmerican Energy Company, will be the featured speaker.
“Due to our proximity to the burgeoning wind energy industry in the state and the Midwest, ICAD Group has targeted wind energy for future development in our area,” said ICAD Group President Joe Raso. “Mr. Fehrman will offer a unique perspective on where the future of wind energy, renewable energy, and energy transmission is headed and how that will benefit our area.”
MidAmerican Energy Company leads the nation in ownership of wind-powered electric generation among rate-regulated utilities and has more than 1,200 megawatts of wind energy facilities in operation, under construction and under contract in Iowa.
The theme of this year’s program and annual report is “Knowledge Energy Vision Action.”
“Those four words sum up the past successes of our organization and what needs to be in place for future growth,” said Raso. “We look forward to celebrating this anniversary with our investors and the community and share how our knowledge, energy, vision and action will lead to great things for the Iowa City area.”
Tickets are available for $25 each by calling the ICAD Group office at (319) 354-3939 or by registering online at www.icadgroup.com. The dinner is open to the public, but reservations are required.
