ICAD Group Helps Grow Value-Added Enterprise

Cedar Ridge Vineyards (CRV), Iowa’s first legal distillery since the Prohibition era, plans to expand into a new 7,050 square foot building located near Swisher, in northern Johnson County.  A second, larger distillation plant is needed to keep pace with growing demand for CRV's distilled spirits products.

The Iowa Economic Development Board awarded the project $100,000 from the Value-Added Agricultural Products and Processes Financial Assistance Program (VAAPFAP) to create 3 jobs and retain 1 job. CRV was also awarded tax benefits from the High Quality Jobs Creation (HQJC) program.
