CIVCO to Inaugurate New Coralville Facility

Ribbon Cutting Planned December 8

CIVCO Medical Solutions is holding a ribbon cutting and reception to inaugurate its new Coralville facility on Thursday, December 8th, at 3 p.m. The new building is located at 2301 Jones Blvd., in Coralville. Speakers will include CIVCO President Charles Klasson and Iowa Innovation Council Vice-Chairman Jack Harris.

Tours of the facility will be available and light refreshments will be served.

CIVCO’s Coralville location houses the company’s Multi-Modality Imaging sales, marketing and engineering functions, including an engineering lab with advanced device prototyping and testing capabilities. CIVCO is maintaining its Kalona location as a flagship manufacturing and distribution center.

This expansion of CIVCO facilities comes as a result of the tremendous growth the company has experienced throughout its 30 year history. After building a manufacturing facility in Kalona in 1992 and expanding the facility two times CIVCO has grown beyond the Kalona location’s capacity. Additional manufacturing space is needed to support the growth of the company, now with multiple locations in the U.S. and Europe, and selling into more than 80 countries.
