CIVCO Introduces Saturation Biopsy Uropathology Software

CIVCO Medical Solutions introduces its much-anticipated Saturation Biopsy Uropathology Software, a solution for both the urologist performing prostate saturation biopsy and the pathologist interpreting the pathology of the prostate cancer.

Saturation biopsy, now a Medicare-approved procedure, involves collecting multiple zonal biopsies using a template-guided, transperineal approach. CIVCO’s new software makes it easier and more efficient for the pathologist to organize and tabulate the multiple specimen cores and helps the physician clearly deliver the biopsy results to patients by providing the results in an illustrative format.
