CIVCO Names VP of Marketing & Product Line Management for Radiation Oncology

CIVCO Medical Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Nat Geissel as vice president of marketing & product line management for radiation oncology.

“Nat brings with him great depth of knowledge and leadership experience in medical imaging equipment, devices, cancer therapy products and healthcare IT, and we are happy to have him join our company at this critical time,” said Charles Klasson, CIVCO president.

Geissel will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and product line management functions within the radiation oncology business segment. “I am very excited to join CIVCO,” said Geissel. “The company has clearly differentiated itself as a radiation oncology market leader in patient positioning & immobilization, tumor localization and motion management, and I look forward to contributing to its continuing success.”

Geissel comes to CIVCO after a distinguished career in medical imaging, software and medical device businesses. He was previously senior director, cardiology for Cerner Corporation, a leading EMR provider based in Kansas City, MO.  Prior to that, he held leadership positions with Sirtex Medical Inc., an oncology-based medical device company, and DMS Health Technologies, a worldwide distributor of patient monitoring and medical imaging equipment.

Geissel is based in CIVCO’s Coralville, Iowa, location.
