Win $1,000 from CorridorCareers.com
11/25/2009Residents Encouraged to Promote the Corridor this Holiday Season
Area economic development agencies, the Iowa City Area Development Group (ICAD Group) and Priority One of Cedar Rapids, are encouraging area residents to promote the Corridor this holiday season to out-of-area friends and family by sending special e-greetings from www.corridorgreetings.com.
DaLayne Williamson, Workforce Business Services Director, says many businesses in the Corridor area continue to grow, requiring more workforce. “We are always looking for ways to target our message to the right people,” said Williamson. “Corridorgreetings.com gets everyone involved. Those who love living and working in our area can invite their friends and family to take a look at opportunities they may not have known about.”
Recipients will receive an electronic holiday card, complete with a Corridor holiday scene and a short message about the great opportunities in the Corridor. Also included is a link to a special page on CorridorCareers.com, promoting the area and offering a sign up for a monthly news letter.
“Corridor residents are well aware of all the amenities and attractions our community has to offer,” says Kari Lammer, Director of Workforce Initiatives for Priority One. “This is an opportunity for them to spread the word about the hundreds of great reasons to live and work in the Corridor.”
Of all greetings sent between November 23 and December 22, 2009, one Corridor resident will win $1,000 in Corridor Cash to spend for the holidays.
