Howard R. Green named top national firm

Howard R. Green Company (HR Green), a leading multi-discipline design firm, has been named the top national firm for professional development by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).  The firm received NSPE’s Professional Development Award, which is given to a single firm each year through a competitive review process and recognizes the employer who exhibits exceptional career development initiatives and employment practices that advance the engineering profession.

“We are honored to receive this award from the National Society of Professional Engineers,” said Ed Barrett, Director of Human Resources.  “We’ve demonstrated an ongoing commitment to growing our people, and helping them advance their careers.  We appreciate the recognition that this award gives to those efforts.”

HR Green has been recognized as a leader in the industry for its development of progressive people programs.  These programs include its in-house Green University curriculum, formal mentoring programs and active career development planning processes.

“As a professional services firm, we rely on our people to realize our vision to be the preferred solutions provider in our markets,” said Rick White, President of HR Green. “We continuously invest in our staff because they need these skills in order meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.  It is a win-win investment because our people and our clients succeed.”
