ICAD Group Workforce Recruitment Video Wins Award

MVP of Cedar Rapids Helped Produce “Find Yourself Here”

(Iowa City) MVP Video Production of Cedar Rapids received a 2009 Videographer Award of Excellence for the Iowa City Area Development (ICAD) Group’s workforce recruitment video “Find Yourself Here.”  The awards were announced at the end of June.  MVP received a total of five awards.

ICAD Group developed the two minute and thirty-second video last summer to showcase opportunities in the Corridor.  Viewers see what the area has to offer in terms of employment, education, quality of life, recreation and more.  The video ends with information about CorridorCareers.com.

“ICAD Group, Priority 1, and our entire region face an ongoing challenge to attract qualified candidates to this area,” said Joe Raso, ICAD Group President.  “This video helps extend our reach nationally and internationally to promote the extraordinary opportunities in the Iowa City area and the Corridor.”

The video can be viewed on YouTube and the ICAD Group website.  DaLayne Williamson, ICAD Group Workforce Business Services Director, also plays the video at college job fairs.

The Videographer Awards is an international awards program directed by communication professionals to honor talented individuals and companies in the video production field. The competition is designed to identify communication professionals who are raising the standards of the industry and to give winners and their clients the recognition that the work they are producing is outstanding and highly regarded by their peers.
