ICAD Group Hires Janee Bradshaw as Fundraising Coordinator

Vision 2030 Campaign to Fund Next Five Years of Programming 

(Iowa City) - The Iowa City Area Development (ICAD) Group has hired Janee Bradshaw to help coordinate its new, five-year campaign.  The campaign, based on ICAD Group’s 2030 Vision, will generate funding for ICAD Group programming for the next five years.

Bradshaw recently moved to the region from Louisville, Kentucky, when her husband was named Director of the Eastern Iowa Airport.  Prior to this role, Bradshaw worked as Administrative Coordinator for the Louisville Metro Government, including event coordination for the Mayor’s office.  Bradshaw and her husband have a daughter, Jessica, who is a freshman at St. Louis University in Missouri.

“We’re excited to bring Janee on to our team,” said Joe Raso, ICAD Group President.  “Her experience with the Louisville Metro Government will prove beneficial as she begins working with current and future ICAD Group investors.”

Bradshaw will assist the staff of Funding Solutions of Austin, Texas, for the next six months as ICAD Group conducts its Vision 2030 fundraising campaign.  Funding Solutions provides comprehensive analysis, fundraising strategies and implementation for economic development groups and chambers of commerce.  The team has been working with ICAD Group and its leadership since October 2011 to create a new game-plan consistent with the culture of innovation that is required to compete in a global economy.

According to Raso, the Iowa City area is poised for future competitive success.  “Funding Solutions have helped guide our planning to focus our past successes and strength into new directions,” said Raso.  “We’ll remain committed to our core work with existing industry, business recruitment and workforce development, but augment it with new strategies and investor outreach.”
