Iowa City Area Hotel and Conference Center Recognized Nationally

The Coralville Marriott Hotel & Conference Center was recently named the Property of the Year for 2008 by the Iowa Lodging Association.

The award is given annually to the hotel property that best demonstrates outstanding performance. The Marriott was recognized in part for its efforts during the June floods as well as for its recent success in growing its business and garnering recognition from other entities.

In addition to that designation, the Marriott has also been recognized by Meetings MidAmerica readers who selected it as "Outstanding Meetings Facility" for 2008 and by Expedia Insiders as one of the top 1 percent of meetings hotels.
