Innovation Meetup Scheduled During RAGBRAI Coralville Stop

Community, RAGBRAI Riders Invited to Learn about Area Innovation

(Coralville) - The Iowa City Area Development Group (ICAD Group), in partnership with iQuest, COWRK Iowa City, iccreatives.us and West Music, is hosting an Innovation Meetup on Friday, July 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. outside of West Music, 1212 5th Street, in Coralville.

The Innovation Meetup was scheduled to provide the community, as well as RAGBRAI riders, information on upcoming innovation and entrepreneurial programming in the area.

“As we continue to develop a culture of innovation, we thought it was important to tell our story to those who may be unfamiliar with the region or what we’re doing,” said Joe Raso, ICAD Group President.  “The RAGBRAI stop provides a perfect opportunity to showcase the great things happening here and share what we have to offer.”

The Innovation Meetup is free and includes hors d'oeuvres and an Iowa craft beer tasting from John’s Grocery.  Attendees must be 21 or older and are asked to RSVP on www.meetup.com (search Innovation in Coralville).  Due to street closings and RAGBRAI events, no on-site parking is available.
