Ideal for Students and Educators in Graphic Communications, Marketing, Business, and Computer Science

MetaCommunications recently has made its software products available free of charge to any student, educator, or educational institution residing in Iowa. Graphic Communications, Marketing, Business, and Computer Science students and educators may register and download their choice of MetaCommunications' project management, graphic design, and database development software.

"Our goal is to assist educators of Iowa in graduating students that have hands-on experience and practical usage of real world professional software tools used everyday in some of the world's largest companies. We view this as an opportunity to invest in Iowa's students and make them more competitive in a technology driven economy," said Robert T. Long, President of MetaCommunications.

According to Jim Volgarino, a graphic communications instructor at the University of Northern Iowa, students with exposure to MetaCommunications software have a tremendous advantage in today's competitive market. Mr. Volgarino says, "For the past two years we have used MetaCommunications software as a resource to teach about computer technology and business applications in the graphics field. It's helped our students get hands on experience that gives them a competitive edge in post graduation plans."
