Iowa City Financial Holding Company Included in Russell 3000 Index

MidWestOneFinancial Group has been included for the first time in the Russell 3000 Index, which measures the performance of the 3,000 largest companies listed on a United States exchange based on their total equity capitalization.
The index is based on a ranking of all U.S. equities by market capitalization as of May 28, according to the Russell organization. As of May 28, the market capitalization of MidWestOnewas about $144 million.
"Our first time inclusion in this index reflects the recognition we have begun to receive this year from the financial community," said Charles Funk, president and CEO, in a press release. "The inclusion in the Russell 3000 Index will further increase our visibility to investors."
For its first quarter ended March 31, MidWestOne reported net income available to common shareholders of $1.79 million or 21 cents per diluted share, half of what the company earned all the previous year and up from $1.05 million or 12 cents a diluted share in the year ago first quarter.
