Learn How to Get Connected in the Corridor

CorridorCareers.com, in partnership with the UI, ISU, and UNI alumni associations, presents its last networking happy hour in Cedar Rapids this Thursday, October 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Daniel Arthur’s.  This series of networking events are designed to help retain area workforce by connecting alumni from the three state universities with each other and the Corridor.

ImpactCR, a community action group under the Cedar Rapids Chamber of Commerce, will introduce attendees to the ease of getting connected in the Corridor.  Featured speakers include:

  • Sridip Mukhopadhyaya, a 32 year old Quantitative Research Analyst from AEGON who was raised in different parts of the world and came to the Corridor for his UI MBA in 2006.  Sridip is very active in the community and a member of the ImpactCR board.
  • Robby Marvin, a 25 year old who has founded The Robject.com.   The Robject is a year long project where Robby has pledged 365 volunteer hours as well as 31.2% of his annual income to twelve non-profit organizations.

Happy hours are open to the public and feature Corridor Careers representatives, networking, and complimentary appetizers provided by CorridorCareers.com.  Daniel Arthur’s is located at 821 3rd Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids.
