Rockwell Collins announced that it will provide a suite of avionics to Jazeera Airways for 30 Airbus A320 aircraft with deliveries starting in January.
The announcement was made at the Dubai Air Show 2009.
“Jazeera Airways has been a customer of our avionics and in-flight entertainment systems since they launched service in 2005,” Jeff Standerski, vice president and general manager for Rockwell Collins air transport systems, said in a news release.
Stefan Pichler, CEO of Jazeera Airways said his company likes the dependability of Rockwell Collins.
“This newest contract is a testament to the reliability of Rockwell Collins products and the strong, successful relationship we’ve fostered with them,” Mr. Pichler said.
The deal follows a $450 million potential contract for radio production the U.S. Navy awarded to Rockwell Collins on Veterans Day.
