Rockwell Collins Named a 2009 Best Diversity Company

Rockwell Collins has been recognized by readers of Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology magazine as a “2009 Best Diversity Company.”The company was selected by readers and website visitors who were asked to identify the corporations, government agencies and other organizations in the U.S. who employ technical professionals and who are doing the best work in diversity.
“It’s an honor to be named a Best Diversity Company by the readers of Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology magazine,” said Rod Dooley, vice president, Talent Management and Diversity at Rockwell Collins. “This recognition validates our efforts to develop diversity and inclusion strategies that help Rockwell Collins recruit and build a technical workforce that represents a variety of people with different genders, backgrounds, beliefs, viewpoints, ideas and experiences.”
During March and April, readers’ and Web site visitors’ were asked to rank organizations for their support of minorities and women, their attention to work/life balance and their commitment to supplier diversity. Winning companies will be recognized in the magazines June/July issue.
