Rockwell Collins Named a 2010 Best Diversity Company

7/1/2010

Rockwell Collins has been named a Readers' Choice 2010 Best Diversity Company by Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology magazine readers.

"This recognition by Diversity/Careers readers is really a testament to the efforts of our managers and employees to ensure we promote diversity and inclusion inside and outside the office," said Sue Nelson, director of diversity for Rockwell Collins, in a press release. "We continue working to create an environment where all employees feel valued, appreciated and respected when they walk through our doors."

Earlier this year, the magazine asked readers and web site visitors to identify the corporations, government agencies and other organizations in the country who employ technical professionals that they believe are doing the best work in diversity. Organizations also were rated for their support of minorities and women, their attention to work/life balance and their commitment to supplier diversity.

The June/July issue of Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology magazine will carry a complete list of winners.
