Learn to Avoid Five Social Media Mistakes

CorridorCareers.com, in partnership with the UI, ISU, and UNI alumni associations, presents its second networking happy hour in Cedar Rapids this Thursday, September 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Daniel Arthur’s.

This series of networking events are designed to help retain area workforce by connecting alumni from the three state universities with each other and the Corridor.

Drew Schiller, a branding and communication design consultant and owner of Schiller Solutions, is this month’s presenter.  "My brief presentation will show how to avoid the 5 biggest mistakes businesses and individuals make when using social media," said Schiller.

Last month's event on renewable energy and green collar jobs had more than 80 attendees.

Happy hours are open to the public and feature Corridor Careers representatives, networking, and complimentary appetizers provided by CorridorCareers.com.  Daniel Arthur’s is located at 821 3rd Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids.
