2008 Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Technology Corridor Benefit Survey 
In 2006, the Iowa City Area Development Group partnered with other area organizations to publish the first-of-its-kind Employer Benefit Profile for the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Technology Corridor and the State of Iowa.
Information was collected from 12,000 randomly selected Iowa businesses with employment ranging from 1 to 8,000 employees.
Iowa was one of 20 states to participate in an Employment & Training Administration (ETA) sponsored consortium to create a survey methodology that allows for state-to-state comparisons of fringe benefit packages. The Iowa benefit study covers 16 industry categories.
