The Iowa City Area Development Group is assisting companies to help fill emerging workforce needs.  Our group has identified opportunities to compete for talent on national and international levels and has developed a plan to actively market job availablility and showcase the attractive quality of life in our area.

Recruiting Activities

The Iowa City Area Development Group and area partners attend numerous recruiting fairs at colleges and universities in Iowa and throughout the Midwest to introduce students to companies in the Iowa City area and the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Technology Corridor.  We help promote specific job openings and present information on our region's excellent quality of life.

Alumni Marketing

ICAD Group partners with alumni associations from the state's three regent institutions and the region's private four-year colleges to employ direct-mail and e-mail campaigns inviting alumni in specific disciplines such as engineering and information technology to consider our area for employment.
